Coach Mentoring
We like to feel that we know a fair bit about tennis coaching, and we are only too happy to share that advice with coaches throughout the UK. Use inspire2coach to help you identify and work in specific areas of your coaching. Coaches are offered the opportunity to receive 3 visits over a 6 month period, to set a personal development plan based on coaching and programme strengths and weaknesses. Mentoring formats are flexible, and can be done on a one to one or club team basis. Typical areas covered in mentoring visits include:
- Working towards higher coaching qualifications
- Working towards a coaching reassessment
- New information such as the LTA Mini Tennis progressions and tactical intentions
- Developing core coaching skills
- Working with performance players
- Running profitable club programmes
- Business skills for coaches
The unique aspect of the mentoring programme is that it often involves visits to the coach’s club, working with young players on the programme. Coaches can take advantage of a great opportunity for individual attention and a chance to take their coaching to the next level. If you would like to know how we can help you to meet specific training needs for you or your team, give us a call.
