inspire2coach uses some of the best tutors and coaches in the UK to deliver a popular range of courses on key themes which coaches of all levels love. All our courses can be booked and paid for online on this website; just visit the course search button in the top right hand corner of the Coach Education home page to register, book and pay. Our current course programme includes:

Receiving Skills
Sign up for this great course, which provides a wealth of information and ideas on how to develop receiving skills in your players. More errors and problems arise from poor receiving skills than any other aspect of the game. This course provides information on why they are such a challenge, drills and ideas to develop them, and how to identify if and when receiving skills are good or poor. A real must for all coaches working with club players of all ages or junior performance players.

Running Great Holiday Camps
Learn how to run great holiday camps with this course. Many coaches run tennis holiday camps, but we also know that they are not the same as running term time coaching. This course covers ideas for games, drills and competitions, working with starter players and mixed abilities, and tips on managing the business side of the camps, so that they become a really profitable part of your coaching.

Winning Tactics for the Junior Game
This course covers the new LTA tactical intentions, and shows how to develop tactical progressions from red to normal ball, following the LTA National Competition Framework. This course is perfect for those wanting to improve understanding of how to link sound technique and tactical understanding early on, resulting in players being able to play total tennis.

Drills and Practices for Performance Players
Learn more about how to work effectively with junior performance players in Mini Tennis and junior programmes. The course provides ideas on how to create drills based on what occurs in matchplay, combined with advice on how to improve detail and coaching skills when setting up drills and running drills

Level 1/Level 2 Workshop
Gain lots of great ideas and practices on this course, specially written for LTA Level 1 or Level 2 Coaching Assistants wishing to gain new practical ideas on court. We will help build on the information given during the Level 1 and Level 2, covering ABCS, drills and games for lessons, and giving great ideas on quick competition formats to use in lessons and holiday programmes.

Cardio Tennis
inspire2coach trains more coaches in Cardio tennis every year than any other organisation in Europe! This fast-paced course trains delivery of this fitness-based tennis product in clubs. Coaches will be shown how to run  fast-moving drills to music, using  Heart Rate Monitors to ensure an optimal workout. Our most popular course is sure to be a hit!

Advanced Cardio Tennis NEW FOR 2010
inspire2coach now offers an advanced version of the very popular Cardio Tennis course, exclusively for Cardio Tennis experts. The course gives more ideas for great on court workouts, and information on programming Cardio into the club programme. Attendees must first have done the original Cardio Tennis course and must be licensed coaches.

Coaching Adults
Learn more about the coaching skills and content required to develop adult programmes based on the reasons why adults play tennis at your club. It includes ideas on the creative use of slower balls for starter players, appropriate technical and tactical coaching, and ideas for competition.

Tennis Leaders Training
This course trains coaches to deliver the new revised LTA Tennis Leaders course in clubs, sports centres, schools and colleges. The course is open to LTA licensed coaches who have an interest in training 13-16 year olds to assist in the running of the club programme, and is also open to Sports Development staff and teachers who teach tennis as part of the Key Stage 4 PE curriculum. All participants will be provided with an LTA Leaders Coach Pack which is included in the cost of the course

Play Test
To be able to access the new LTA Coach qualification a basic playing standard is required. The Play Test allows people to be assessed against the relevant entry playing criteria for a specific qualification. Once successful on the Play Test candidates will be able to access their qualification course knowing that their playing standard is of the correct standard for the start of the course. However, if candidates have or have had a rating at or above the following level they do not need to take the Play Test. Minimum ratings required are:
·         6.1 for the Club Coach course
·         5.1 for the Performance Coach course
·         5.1 for Senior and Master Club courses
·         4.1 for Senior and Master Performance courses
This session delivered by inspire2coach takes coaches through the on-court tests and an overview of the new Coach Education structure.

Technical Analysis
This course identifies many of the key technical challenges which coaches have to overcome on a day-to-day basis in their junior programmes. Key themes include developing sound technique early on, error detection and correction in young players, and how to link technical development with tactical intention.

Tots
This course is for LTA Level 2 Coaching Assistants and more experienced qualified coaches who are interested in working with 3-4 year olds. The course provides a real insight into the skills required to work with this exciting age group, and also gives ideas to develop basic ABCS, cooperative practise and even basic competition. Participants are also offered valuable information to help them to better understand this age group and how to work with parents to get the most out of a Tots programme.

All courses for licensed coaches are approved by LTA Coach Education and offer LTA coach licensing credits
