John Hales Wins Coach of the Year!

inspire2coach's very own John Hales wins 'James Cooper Development Coach of the year 2011'

In January, Warwickshire LTA held their annual tennis awards and it was a great night for Beechwood LTC's new Head Coach John Hales winning the 'James Cooper Development Coach of the Year 2011 '. The prestigious award was renamed  in honour of local tennis coach James Cooper who was tragically killed last April  along with friend  James Kouzaris whist holidaying in Florida.

John was delighted with his award saying "Winning this award means so much to me, not only for it rewarding my hard work but for the fact it has been re-named after my best friend James".

 

John is piloting a degree scheme for the LTA in Tennis Management which he gained a 2:1 level. In January 2011 John was awarded the AEGON National Coach of the month This was due to the success he achieved driving a successful adult programme at the University of Warwick Indoor Tennis Centre.
